MIA

So I kind of dropped of the face of the earth there. Sorry guys! I guess I just got super busy and did not even think to update over here. Everything is going good over here, I am 17 weeks pregnant at the moment and will do an update when I hit 18 weeks on Tuesday. I will find out what this little baby in my tummy is on Tuesday as well. I can not wait!! I have no hunches so far. I have dreamed both boy and girl so I have no intuition this time.

Jeremy starts school on the 27th, and I am excited for him as well and sad that he is getting bigger. He has all of his school supplies ready to go and his uniforms as well. I just need to wash them.

Jackson is still a crazy baby and is a giant tornado that tears up the house. He is just so darn cute though and when he smiles at you you cant even be mad at him.

Well I just wanted to pop in and give a quick update and will try to keep this up from now on :)

Nose Bleed

So Jeremy came over to me and he was having a horrible nose bleed.

I had horrible nose bleeds when I was a child. Literally I would be bleeding for 30 min to 1hr, more like dripping.... it was awful. No doctor thought there was anything that could be done and I just had to live with it. It wasn't until I was 17 and went to a new ENT before I got it fixed. He looked up there and was like oh I see your problem, grabs a cotton swab with numbing medicine and walks out. 5 min later he comes in and sticks a cauterizing stick up there (which was not pleasant at ALL) and fixed it. He told me that my nose formed different then normal and my vessels were running on the bottom of my nasal cavity verses the top like normal people. I could pretty much touch the vessel that was causing all the problems. I have not had an issue since.

Now why the hell did it take 17 years to figure that out in what this ENT did in 5 min...... ugh and I went to numerous ENT's.... anyways I hope Jeremy's nose is not as bad as mine, he does have bad bleeds but they maybe last 5 min, if that. Praying it doesnt get worse.

Pregnancy Week 7

The big news this week: Hands and feet are emerging from developing arms and legs — although they look more like paddles at this point than the tiny, pudgy extremities you're daydreaming about holding and tickling. Technically, your baby is still considered an embryo and has something of a small tail, which is an extension of her tailbone. The tail will disappear within a few weeks, but that's the only thing getting smaller. Your baby has doubled in size since last week and now measures half an inch long, about the size of a blueberry. (From Baby Center )

How Graeber #3 and I Are:

Symptoms:Well I am super tired. I am currently sick right now with a horrible cold, so I of course have all of those symptoms. I feel horrible, but my doctor gave me a z pack so I am on that and hopefully it does something!
Cravings: cheese fries, pizza
Things that make me go YUK! : The smell of fish...ewww

Gender: Man, maybe because this pregnancy is so different, that means it is a girl!! HAHA!
Something I am excited about: 5 Days!!!! It is getting closer and that is super exciting!
Doctors and such: I went to my general practitioner today because I am sick and we talked about my pregnancy. Since I was on bp meds last pregnancy and had to be watched hard core through out, she still wants to see me every month just to be safe. I am no longer on bp meds anymore ( I think its because I lost 30 + pounds) and I have been doing really good, but that doesn't mean that something could happen since I have the history. Lets keep our fingers crossed that everything will be ok this time!! :)

Pregnancy Week 6

This week's major developments: The nose, mouth, and ears that you'll spend so much time kissing in eight months are beginning to take shape. If you could see into your uterus, you'd find an oversize head and dark spots where your baby's eyes and nostrils are starting to form. His emerging ears are marked by small depressions on the sides of the head, and his arms and legs by protruding buds. His heart is beating about 100 to 160 times a minute — almost twice as fast as yours — and blood is beginning to course through his body. His intestines are developing, and the bud of tissue that will give rise to his lungs has appeared. His pituitary gland is forming, as are the rest of his brain, muscles, and bones. Right now, your baby is a quarter of an inch long, about the size of a lentil. (from Baby Center )

How Graeber #3 and I Are:

Symptoms: GAS!!! HOLY GAS! Honestly that is all. this pregnancy has been so different from my other 2. I still am having the crazy dreams, and I am super thirsty all the time. Water has been a good friend :)
Cravings:Crab Cakes and Burgers
Things that make me go YUK! : Still nothing yet. Only time will tell!

Gender: Man, maybe because this pregnancy is so different, that means it is a girl!! HAHA!
Something I am excited about: 13 days! That is my u/s!!! I am also excited about telling everyone (except my mom). We will announce after the appointment. I cant wait to tell Jeremy either, I think he will be so excited.
Doctors and such:June 4th. I will talk to her about a lot of things. I am going to tell her about how I want a water birth and how I might switch to a midwife. I do want to make sure that I am ok though. Then if I am, I will go. She is such a compassionate person that I hope she will see my views and be

Day 2 of the #flatschallenge

Ok so today, I washed :) It was not that bad. I rinsed with cold water, washed with hot, then rinsed again in cold. I then took them outside to sun. They dried very fast. I told my husband that I felt rustic. HAHA! He just laughed at me. Here are the diapers on the line:

I have not had one leak yet. I also have not had a poo today yet either. I am waiting for that. The flats are actually not a bad diapering choice. I had never used one before the challenge and I am glad I am participating to experience this! The flats are an easy choice on a small budget and you can even use receiving blankets (which I have been using some! )

I also used a flat overnight! It worked good! I usually have a very heavy wetter, and while yes it was super wet, it had not leaked yet. Great job flats!

Day 1 of the #flatschallenge

So today is day one of the second annual flats challenge. I was lucky not to have a poopy diaper. His diaper from last night was a poopy so that worked in my favor. I did not have any leaks, and honestly doing the folds are not that difficult. I love the Origami fold by the way.
I will wash tomorrow, so I will update you all on how that goes then. I am not sure how that will be done yet. I was thinking of filling the washer with water and doing it that way. I dont know if that is  cheating or not since it wont be on, and i will be the agitator and washer and what not. I would do it in my sink if I had a stopper (it broke a year or so ago and I never got a new one :/ )
I do have to say that today was a bit of a fail, only because today is my husband and I's anniversary and while we went out to lunch, my sister in law watched him and he was in a regular cloth diaper for her. I left him in a flat but she changed him into a pocket. I did not expect her to do the flats lol! While I was home he did do the flats though :)

Crabcakes!!!

OMG I have the biggest craving for crab cakes!! Man, just thinking of them makes my mouth water! Our anniversary is on Monday, and I am so going somewhere where I can get crab cakes.

Pregnancy Week 5

The neural tube — from which your baby's brain, spinal cord, nerves, and backbone will sprout — is starting to develop in the top layer, called the ectoderm. This layer will also give rise to his skin, hair, nails, mammary and sweat glands, and tooth enamel.
His heart and circulatory system begin to form in the middle layer, or mesoderm. (This week, in fact, his tiny heart begins to divide into chambers and beat and pump blood.) The mesoderm will also form your baby's muscles, cartilage, bone, and subcutaneous (under skin) tissue.
The third layer, or endoderm, will house his lungs, intestines, and rudimentary urinary system, as well as his thyroid, liver, and pancreas. In the meantime, the primitive placenta and umbilical cord, which deliver nourishment and oxygen to your baby, are already on the job. (From Baby Center)

How Graeber #3 and I Are:

Symptoms: I still only really have gas and super bloat. The crazy dreams are still there. I did have one flash of nausea today, but it lasted all but a few minutes.
Cravings: Mexican food. Ice. Cheese fries.
Things that make me go YUK! : Still nothing yet. Only time will tell!

Gender: We will find out! I hope its a girl this time, but if its a boy I will be happy too!
Something I am excited about: I am excited about the super cute shirt I bought and got yesterday! I can not wait to get bigger and be able to wear it!! I love maternity clothes! I am getting excited about my ultrasound. 2 weeks and 5 days.....but who is counting lol.
Doctors and such:June 4th. I will talk to her about a lot of things. I am going to tell her about how I want a water birth and how I might switch to a midwife. I do want to make sure that I am ok though. Then if I am, I will go. She is such a compassionate person that I hope she will see my views and be supportive.
I seriously have a mini bump....its including my fat, but its obvious. :/ I was the same way with Jackson, but i do not think it was this bad already! I have a weird thoughts and dreams that there is 2.....I sure hope its just only one though.

My big boy!

So today was such a great day. Not because it was mothers day, but because my baby boy crossed another milestone! He rode a bike with no training wheels!! I am so so proud of him. Here is Jared taking the training wheels off and Jeremy waiting patiently.

Here is Jared helping him in the beginning. He was nervous of course and would forget to pedal and fall over. He got it down quick though.

Then he got it down! He was going all by himself! I was soooo proud of him. He is so excited that he can do it too. I am such a proud mama!

Penguins

So I have crazy dreams. Last night was no exception. I had a dream that I was part penguin and that the zoo tried to take my baby  to display to everyone. I could talk to other penguins and there was a nice penguin couple and they understood my pain. I went and saw my baby there, and stole him from the zoo so he could come back home. Then I woke up.....wtf?!?!? HAHAHA Anyone else want to share some crazy dreams that they have had?

Saturday, May 12, 2012

Hahahahahaha!

Ok so Jackson is now old enough to undo the velcro on his cloth diapers, if he doesn't have shorts on.......

So then I find him in the guest room.......playing with himself :/ He thought it was funny !

Mother in laws Birthday

Today was my MIL birthday. We had a nice dinner planned for her. Jared cooked chicken breast and quarters and Blake seasoned the ribs, Jared started them on the grill. Shelby made the sides. I picked up the cake (which was super yummy lol). It was a very nice time. We told them about the baby. In her birthday card on the inside I put a picture of my positive digital pregnancy test with Coming Jan 2013 on it. She was sooooo excited. I am so glad that they are all so happy about it. It means so much to have that support system behind me.

Well now I am home, boys are sleeping, Jared is outside with the neighbors, and I have some alone time. Its so nice.

I want....

A hot fudge sundae .... #thatisall #pregnantmommyproblems

Pregnancy Week 4

This week marks the beginning of the embryonic period. From now until 10 weeks, all of your baby's organs will begin to develop and some will even begin to function. As a result, this is the time when she'll be most vulnerable to anything that might interfere with her development.
Right now your baby is an embryo the size of a poppy seed, consisting of two layers: the epiblast and the hypoblast, from which all of her organs and body parts will develop. (From Baby Center )

How me and Graeber #3 are:

Symptoms: I really have not had any yet. Really my first indicator was vivid crazy dreams. I also am super bloated, and gassy. I am pretty gassy normally though, so I don't count that as a major symptom lol.
Cravings: Sweet things! Chocolate, ice cream, and fruit.
Things that make me go YUK! : Well nothing really yet. Only time will tell!

Gender: We will find out! I hope its a girl this time, but if its a boy I will be happy too!
Something I am excited about: I am excited to be pregnant again! I love being pregnant! This will be our last baby so I am really going to enjoy this! I am also excited about telling the inlaws on Friday. Its my mother in laws birthday too, so we are going to give a picture of my positive pregnancy test in her birthday card. :) ( I will let yall know how that goes!)
Doctors and such: I made my first appointment. It is set for June 4th at 2:00pm. That sure seems like ages away!!! I still am with my OB. I still have not ruled out the midwife. I really want a water birth, but I will talk it over with my OB and feel her out.

I will update with pictures of me and my bump later, right now I just look fat. I am still waiting to tell my mother. I am sure it wont be a happy feeling, since she has told both Jared and I that we do not need any more babies. I might be wrong, but I am still scared. I will tell her after my first appointment. :/

:(

So Jackson has hand foot and mouth disease.......not cool. My poor poor baby! I sure hope it runs its course fast! My nephew has it too. We probably got it from someone at the crawfish boil that was on Saturday. :/ so since he hasn't been well he has been nursing like all day. I sure hope it doesn't affect the baby with his crazy nursing. I also hope Jeremy doesn't get it either. Saying a quick prayer for my family so we can heal fast.

My poor baby..

So Jackson has a fever today. He is fine and happy and then all of a sudden he had a fever, but no other symptoms. He is cranky and clingy since it started. I have given him meds and finally his fever broke. Pooorr baby! I think it has to be teething, because since there is no.other symptoms I have no clue what else it could be. Oh well hope he feels better tomorrow.

Sunday, May 6, 2012

YAY!!!

So on Friday night I got my positive test!! EEKK So I have since then taken a digital test and it did say pregnant. I have not wrapped my head around it yet! I did not think it was going to happen right away, since it took a while with Jackson. I am 30 lbs lighter though then when I was TTCing him, so that might have something to do with it. Also since I am still breastfeeding pretty regularly still, I thought that would hinder a quick pregnancy. We are so happy though. This is our last baby so I want to enjoy it. I just hope this baby is here to stay :) I will update as my pregnancy moves along. So watch out for those posts.

Team Fitness

SO I have began walking and trying to eat a little better then I was. I am on day 2 of walking and I feel really good about myself. I want to loose about 20 pounds so I am really going to try. I might need to buy a scale huh?

So my mom gets produce from Rawfully Organic Coop. She ordered a full box instead of a half so I could have some. I am so excited about it! Fresh produce, no chemicals, and its totally green. I know she said there was greens, carrots, eggplant, tomatoes, green onions, apples, oranges, pears, cantelope, pineapple, and a few other items. I can not wait to get some!! If I like it and I can afford it, I might start getting a half box. It is so much healthier to eat fresh grown! Since buying Organic at the grocery store is horribly expensive.

Free Time.

So my dad came today and picked up the boys this morning. It was so nice to have some free time with just Jared. We had lunch, some fun(hehe), and I took a big nap. I have not had an uninterrupted nap in a looooong time. It was wonderful!!! He left tonight for College Station for work training. He will be back on Wednesday. We could have all gone, but there was alot going one in the next few days, and our funds are not pretty at the moment until Friday. So I will just miss him until then. :) He was so cute and he told me "Well if you ovulate while im gone, maybe the strong girl sperm will be waiting for the egg"....bhahhaha oh how I love him and that he knows his ttc lingo! :)

We went to a gender reveal party on Saturday. The couple did not know the gender before, so it was a surprise for everyone. They are having a girl. It was cute. I think I will do that when we get pregnant again.

The Great Cloth Diaper Change was Saturday morning, and Nikki and I went. It was fun seeing so many cloth diapering mamas. I didnt take any pics though..(yes I know....I should have :/ ) It was at the Rite of Passage Birth Center. We got to tour it after the GCDC was over. OMG I fell in love with it!!!! It was so nice. I might go there when I get pregnant again. I really want a midwife/water birth this time. I sure hope I can. Here is a link if anyone is interested in it!! Rite of Passage

Today's adventures....

So today we get up and get ready to go to Nikkis house so I can help her put snaps on diapers. We get in the car and my tire is low.....still....after I told Jared to fix it...which he didn't. So I go to Needville, pick up breakfast tacos because we were starving lol and then go to the inlaws so I could get air in my tires. Then we were at Nikkis for a few hours. Then I went the the bank, and Jeremy noticed a snow cube stand earlier, so we stopped there. Mmmmmm it was good. It had been a very long time since I had had one. Jeremy had a great idea to stop lol. Then we went to the inlaws. Had dinner, watched some tv, went back to nikkis so Jeremy and Maci could play since she was now home from school. Then we came home. :)

On a ttc update, opk was super light. Ugh so angry at my ovaries for tricking me. We shall see what happens. Two ladies get a bfp today in one of my mommy groups. I'm super excited for them but wish I was joining them too.

Monday, April 16, 2012

Oh the HAIR!! hahaha

OPK

I think my opk got darker, we shall see. I hope it just doesnt stay the same for a whole bunch of days :/ I am crampy today, I hope that is a good sign :)

TTC#3

So since I now made this blog private, and for a good reason, I can announce that we are officially trying for our last baby. We are starting now since it did take a while to get pregnant with Jackson. We are starting earlier then we had planned, but after my chemical pregnancy in March, that really got us in to ttc. Jared really was the one that was gung ho into it! :) Well this is cycle #2 that I am on and I am about to ovulate alot earlier then last cycle. I am on CD 10 right now and I got a near positive opk today. I dont know if its the breastfeeding that is throwing off the cycles that much or what, but we shall see what will happen. I am now going to try and update this blog on our journey of ttc and if I get pregnant, that too :) I cant wait to see what tomorrows opk does! I added todays opk for your viewing!

I feel awful!!

I have not posted since last year and I feel horrible about it!!! So much has happened in that time that there is no way I could type it all now. Jackson is now 1. Jeremy is to smart for his own good. LOL Jared and I are doing great! I have more to elaborate on that, but I will do that in another post. My Thirty One business is doing wonderful. I am thinking of adding another direct sales company under my belt. I am meeting with a lady on Friday about Jewel Kade, and another lady is mailing me information on Origami Owl. I am excited. I have a craft show on Saturday that I am doing for my "boss" with Thirty One, since she is busy. We have lunch at Grandma Graeber's on Sunday. Bible study Wednesday. Possibly getting me a new car.....no specific date.. sp wow busy!! That isn't even all of it. I will try my hardest to keep posting regularly on here now, Its nice to have records of things that happen. :) Well it is 2 AM and I am going to try to fall asleep now! Talk to you soon!!

MUAH!!
