Dining Room....now known as the play room

So we had a formal dining room in the front of our home.....it is nice, but it only got used once or twice a year.....even if that much. So for a while now I had just thought we could move the nice table into the kitchen (and get rid of the super cheap one) and make the old living room into Jeremy's play room. Well I moved the table out of there and cleaned the carpets (Scooter was using that room as a personal bathroom...well he uses anywhere really but that room was bad since I dont go in there that often) I will move his tv in there as well that is in his room. I told him no more tv and he seemed ok with the idea. That will clear room up in his room which will be nice. I am excited that all of this is finally getting done. Even though I had to do it myself.... Jared just wasnt doing it quick enough....(I think a few months is to long lol)

My little cowboy and I

To my Daddy

I wish you a very happy father's day. I love you very much. You have always been the reasonable one and the one that held your own when I got a little crazy. You never put fuel to the fire and I so thank you for that. I respect you to the highest regard. We have never been the lovey type which is alright with me because I know its there with out having to be said. (except that one time you were in Orlando I think and you called to me to tell me you love me cause a hurricane was hitting there... yea I am pretty sure I cried when the phone cut out cause I thought the hurricane was going to blow you away) I did always like our outings when I was younger, until Erica got all crazy possessive....but that is ok. I love how you love my babies so much. I am glad that you can see them grow up. So on this day to you I am glad to have you as my daddy. :) Happy Fathers Day!

Squirt to the face!

So I have been lucky to be breastfeeding as long as I have with Jackson. I am very happy. Though, along the way I have had ups and downs and uh-ohs. From forgetting to put breast pads in and leaking all over the place or spraying Jackson in the face when he unlatches or spilling pumped milk (which is a sure way to make me very angry) I have had my fair share of accidents.

I think though out of all of them that I have had the one that I wont forget is one of the times that Jackson unlatched and I sprayed... but not just sprayed on his face or chin or neck or even the bossom buddy...it spray clear over all of that and hit Jeremy in the face. I sat there stunned and Jeremy had an even more stunned look on his face. I couldnt help but bust out laughing. He looks at me and says, "Mommy what was that?!" I told him sorry that I got milk on his face, he then says, "EWWWWWW Why did you do that to me?" I laughed even harder, and said I didnt mean to. He looks at me and tells me not to do that again and then goes back to watching tv.

Oh it was funny but the look on his face was priceless. :)

Crazy things Jeremy says.

So the other day I was in the shower and Jermey comes in and was talking about who knows what and then he says, "boys have pee pee's... but girls dont". I told him that yes we do but they dont look like yours. He then says.."yea they look like bun buns"... I call his butt a bunbun hahahah oh I had to contain myself.

So hot

So it is so ungodly hot outside. We are in a drought here and it has just been horrible. Jared left a while ago to go to a fire, which it looks like some jackass threw a cigarette out and it caught the grass on fire and then a chain reaction of catching 3 trailer houses on fire. The grass is all dead and crunchy, which is a fires best friend. Some people are idiots. We need rain, but it is no where in sight. I hope it comes soon. :( I just feel bad for those three families that probably lost everything.

Breastfeeding and Teeth

So Jackson has started drooling like nobody's business. Which is fine and all, but that has me thinking, drooling=start of teething. Teething is a great milestone, but while breastfeeding...how does that work? I am really nervous. I don't want to get bit. I mean I can not expect it not to happen, but I don't want it to. I know I have time before any teeth come through, and I will surely enjoy the time before that happens, but I am still worried. If any moms who breastfed babies/toddlers with teeth, I want to hear your words of encouragement, as well as stories of biting and what you did? I did not get a chance to breastfeed Jeremy this long (mainly due to me being so young and wasn't taught at all how to do it right) so this is all new to me. I don't want to stop anytime soon, but seriously...the teeth are giving me the heebie jeebies..... :(
