Hairloss.....

So I know that hairloss is normal after having a baby.....but wtf is up with mine. I have lost so much and I have bald patches. I had my thyroid checked and those levels were normal. I sure hope it lets up soon, other wise I do not know what I am going to do. :(

Fuzzi Bunz

So I have 3 in my stash that I use for my night time diapering. I never had any issues with them and they have been great for the over night, 10+ hours wetness, but they are so not my favorite. I realized this tonight when the back seemed very tight, and I just didn't feel like adjusting the elastic. I guess I'm being lazy. I love the idea and seemless look of the diaper but I seem to reach for my rumparooz or happy heiny at night. It makes me feel sad a little. I will still use them......maybe. I need to downsize my stash since I have a new found love for prefolds and I might just give some of them to my bff's sister in law, since they are starting cloth and don't have extra funds to buy very many, and since I have 30+ diapers, I could spare some. Any one else have a diaper that they thought they would love and just aren't as impressed as you thought you would have been?

Beach Vacation

So the past week we spent at the beach with Jared's family. I was nice to get away, but I was happy to be home and sleep in my bed. We did have some rough nights with Jackson since he is starting to cut teeth, but other then that he did very well. Jeremy is a beach and fishing bum, he loved every minute of it. He caught alot of fish too in the surf. I was so proud of him. I, thank goodness, did not get burned this year. I usually do, so i was glad not to repeat that this year.

A bond like no other

When I had Jackson, I knew that I wanted to breastfeed this time, since I was cheated with my first son (no support in hospital, nurses never came, being young and not knowing about lactation consultsnts, ect) we got three good weeks and that was it.

Well once Jackson was out they had to take him to the nicu right away since I was being induced due to his heart skipping beats and they needed to be sure that it was going to go back to normal once out of the womb. So I didn't get to nurse right away. I was worried that it would affect the breastfeeding. It didnt, thank goodness. He was a great latcher and a lactation consultant was right there helping me.

That first week was hard and I almost gave up. The pain was just horrible and cracked/bleeding nipples did not make it any better. I am glad I pushed on. If I wouldnt have, I would have never known the bond that we have made. It is truely something so special. The way he depends on me and looks at me and even the way he smiles when he sees me is just so fulfilling.
When he is eating and just stops to smile at me or when he is sleepy and places his hand on my chest as he cloeses his eyes let's me know how special our time is. I know once we start solids it will not be as often and I know that one day it will be over but I am enjoying this time now. I just wish I could have had this Jeremy too. (We have a great bond too but in a different way...he is a daddys boy...enough said lol)

The only time he is quiet.......

HEB parking lot

So we went grocery shopping today. In store it was all uneventful as usual. I pushed Jackson in the stroller and Jared pushed the buggie with Jeremy in it. No, once we get loaded in the car and about to leave, Jeremy isn't in his seat and is jumping around. "Momma I have to pee! Bad!" Of course Jared gets mad and says hold it....well no he really had to go and he wouldn't have made it into the store. So I grab an empty sonic cup I had in the car and told him to pee in it. He did, I held the cup and we all were laughing so hard. I mean really nothing is normal in my days. I am glad I had that cup and that my son will do things in a pinch. It was a funny ending to my day.
