Nose Bleed

So Jeremy came over to me and he was having a horrible nose bleed.

I had horrible nose bleeds when I was a child. Literally I would be bleeding for 30 min to 1hr, more like dripping.... it was awful. No doctor thought there was anything that could be done and I just had to live with it. It wasn't until I was 17 and went to a new ENT before I got it fixed. He looked up there and was like oh I see your problem, grabs a cotton swab with numbing medicine and walks out. 5 min later he comes in and sticks a cauterizing stick up there (which was not pleasant at ALL) and fixed it. He told me that my nose formed different then normal and my vessels were running on the bottom of my nasal cavity verses the top like normal people. I could pretty much touch the vessel that was causing all the problems. I have not had an issue since.

Now why the hell did it take 17 years to figure that out in what this ENT did in 5 min...... ugh and I went to numerous ENT's.... anyways I hope Jeremy's nose is not as bad as mine, he does have bad bleeds but they maybe last 5 min, if that. Praying it doesnt get worse.

Pregnancy Week 7

The big news this week: Hands and feet are emerging from developing arms and legs — although they look more like paddles at this point than the tiny, pudgy extremities you're daydreaming about holding and tickling. Technically, your baby is still considered an embryo and has something of a small tail, which is an extension of her tailbone. The tail will disappear within a few weeks, but that's the only thing getting smaller. Your baby has doubled in size since last week and now measures half an inch long, about the size of a blueberry. How Graeber #3 and I Are:

Symptoms:Well I am super tired. I am currently sick right now with a horrible cold, so I of course have all of those symptoms. I feel horrible, but my doctor gave me a z pack so I am on that and hopefully it does something!
Cravings: cheese fries, pizza
Things that make me go YUK! : The smell of fish...ewww

Gender: Man, maybe because this pregnancy is so different, that means it is a girl!! HAHA!
Something I am excited about: 5 Days!!!! It is getting closer and that is super exciting!
Doctors and such: I went to my general practitioner today because I am sick and we talked about my pregnancy. Since I was on bp meds last pregnancy and had to be watched hard core through out, she still wants to see me every month just to be safe. I am no longer on bp meds anymore ( I think its because I lost 30 + pounds) and I have been doing really good, but that doesn't mean that something could happen since I have the history. Lets keep our fingers crossed that everything will be ok this time!! :)

Pregnancy Week 6

This week's major developments: The nose, mouth, and ears that you'll spend so much time kissing in eight months are beginning to take shape. If you could see into your uterus, you'd find an oversize head and dark spots where your baby's eyes and nostrils are starting to form. His emerging ears are marked by small depressions on the sides of the head, and his arms and legs by protruding buds. His heart is beating about 100 to 160 times a minute — almost twice as fast as yours — and blood is beginning to course through his body. His intestines are developing, and the bud of tissue that will give rise to his lungs has appeared. His pituitary gland is forming, as are the rest of his brain, muscles, and bones. Right now, your baby is a quarter of an inch long, about the size of a lentil. (from Baby Center )

How Graeber #3 and I Are:

Symptoms: GAS!!! HOLY GAS! Honestly that is all. this pregnancy has been so different from my other 2. I still am having the crazy dreams, and I am super thirsty all the time. Water has been a good friend :)
Cravings:Crab Cakes and Burgers
Things that make me go YUK! : Still nothing yet. Only time will tell!

Gender: Man, maybe because this pregnancy is so different, that means it is a girl!! HAHA!
Something I am excited about: 13 days! That is my u/s!!! I am also excited about telling everyone (except my mom). We will announce after the appointment. I cant wait to tell Jeremy either, I think he will be so excited.

I do want to make sure that I am ok though. Then if I am, I will go. She is such a compassionate person that I hope she will see my views and be

Day 2 of the #flatschallenge

Ok so today, I washed :) It was not that bad. I rinsed with cold water, washed with hot, then rinsed again in cold. I then took them outside to sun. They dried very fast. I told my husband that I felt rustic. HAHA! He just laughed at me. Here are the diapers on the line:

I have not had one leak yet. I also have not had a poo today yet either. I am waiting for that. The flats are actually not a bad diapering choice. I had never used one before the challenge and I am glad I am participating to experience this! The flats are an easy choice on a small budget and you can even use receiving blankets (which I have been using some! )

I also used a flat overnight! It worked good! I usually have a very heavy wetter, and while yes it was super wet, it had not leaked yet. Great job flats!

Day 1 of the #flatschallenge

So today is day one of the second annual flats challenge. I was lucky not to have a poopy diaper. His diaper from last night was a poopy so that worked in my favor. I did not have any leaks, and honestly doing the folds are not that difficult. I love the Origami fold by the way.
I will wash tomorrow, so I will update you all on how that goes then. I am not sure how that will be done yet. I was thinking of filling the washer with water and doing it that way. I dont know if that is  cheating or not since it wont be on, and i will be the agitator and washer and what not. I would do it in my sink if I had a stopper (it broke a year or so ago and I never got a new one :/ )
I do have to say that today was a bit of a fail, only because today is my husband and I's anniversary and while we went out to lunch, my sister in law watched him and he was in a regular cloth diaper for her. I left him in a flat but she changed him into a pocket. I did not expect her to do the flats lol! While I was home he did do the flats though :)

Pregnancy Week 5

The neural tube — from which your baby's brain, spinal cord, nerves, and backbone will sprout — is starting to develop in the top layer, called the ectoderm. This layer will also give rise to his skin, hair, nails, mammary and sweat glands, and tooth enamel.
His heart and circulatory system begin to form in the middle layer, or mesoderm. (This week, in fact, his tiny heart begins to divide into chambers and beat and pump blood.) The mesoderm will also form your baby's muscles, cartilage, bone, and subcutaneous (under skin) tissue.
The third layer, or endoderm, will house his lungs, intestines, and rudimentary urinary system, as well as his thyroid, liver, and pancreas. In the meantime, the primitive placenta and umbilical cord, which deliver nourishment and oxygen to your baby, are already on the job. (From Baby Center)

How Graeber #3 and I Are:

Symptoms: I still only really have gas and super bloat. The crazy dreams are still there. I did have one flash of nausea today, but it lasted all but a few minutes.
Cravings: Mexican food. Ice. Cheese fries.
Things that make me go YUK! : Still nothing yet. Only time will tell!

Gender: We will find out! I hope its a girl this time, but if its a boy I will be happy too!
Something I am excited about: I am excited about the super cute shirt I bought and got yesterday! I can not wait to get bigger and be able to wear it!! I love maternity clothes! I am getting excited about my ultrasound. 2 weeks and 5 days.....but who is counting lol.
Doctors and such:June 4th. I will talk to her about a lot of things. I am going to tell her about how I want a water birth and how I might switch to a midwife. I do want to make sure that I am ok though. Then if I am, I will go. She is such a compassionate person that I hope she will see my views and be supportive.
I seriously have a mini bump....its including my fat, but its obvious. :/ I was the same way with Jackson, but i do not think it was this bad already! I have a weird thoughts and dreams that there is 2.....I sure hope its just only one though.
